Abstract

Over the course of recent years, the evolution of scientific and technological development, along with the growth in the use of social networks, has created an increase in the demand for medical and dental procedures focused on aesthetics and beauty. However, the treatments have high risks that lead to damage that can permanently affect the patient's quality of life. For this reason, health professionals must face bioethical dilemmas and protect the well-being of comprehensive health, above the visual aspect.
