Resumen
El estudio trata de responder a la pregunta sobre la pertinencia de incluir explícitamente los derechos de las mujeres en las constituciones contemporáneas. Ofrece una aproximación historiográfica a estos primeros derechos, como parte esencial del principio de igualdad, hasta su actual reivindicación de ser incorporados a los textos jurídicos fundamentales. Se describe la transformación del contenido de dichos derechos por influencia de los movimientos feministas, y se analiza el nuevo feminismo constitucional, en sus raíces antropológicas y consecuencias jurídicas.
