Abstract

bravo! Looks for innovation through simplicity and functionality to create objects and unique solutions utilizing a methodology that is born from the study and rescue of the traditional techniques of the local environment. Together with the incorporation of the best available technologies and a respectful use of raw materials, has transformed into a peculiar working formula.Design projects are developed as unique challenges, where the in-depth study enables to design solutions to the extent. This experience coupled with a selected list of collaborators from different areas, are the plug-ins that allow bravo! to develop projects of diverse nature.The fact that some of the objects have parts and pieces in copper is not random or fancy. The choice of this material as the central focus of some of the objects has to do with a plan of territorial design development: work with resources proper of the environment and context. This means, the use of techniques and raw materials that correspond to the nearest environment.The products and furniture are designed by means of local materiality as copper, bronze, “lenga”, “coihue” and stones of mountain rivers that respond to a place, have a clear origin and tell a story beyond its function and utility. In this way, belonging to this latitude gives value and represents a major distinguishing factor. In turn, it helps to generate objects with identity and that integrate a sustainable logic, in environmental, social and economic terms.
