Abstract

A new wave of cultural heritage care is going on in our country. Concerned about the conservation of pieces that are now recognized as part of our acquis, the work of Carlos Maillet, director of the Servicio Nacional del Patrimonio Cultural (National Service of Cultural Heritage), is focused on educating citizens and returning–as a loan, in some cases– goods to native peoples.
