For both hospital discharges and mortality for mortality, a higher risk is seen in men and in people over 80 years of age. Discussion: Mortality due to tuberculosis mortality due to tuberculosis in Chile has decreased following the international trend, while the incidence in Chile had stagnated until 2014, and then with an increase until 2019.
