Vapers are marketed as a flavored, artificially healthy, and analgesic device; however, research has shown that the chemicals contained in the flavorings have harmful effects on the general periodontal system. Furthermore, the general population is unaware of the active ingredients in vapes and how artificial flavors are synthesized.
