Testicular cancer is the most common solid tumour in young adult men and has various risk factors that alter its incidence. Chile has one of the highest incidences of testicular cancer worldwide, and it has been found that people between the ages of 20 and 34 have the highest incidence and mortality rates, with the latter remaining at a plateau in recent years. Given the epidemiological significance of this disease, the question arose as to the epidemiological situation of testicular cancer in Chile. Objective: To conduct an epidemiological review of testicular cancer in terms of its incidence, mortality, hospital discharges, survival, potential years of life lost, and disability-adjusted life years in Chile between 2002 and 2019. Methodology: A retrospective longitudinal descriptive observational study was conducted based on a population of men with testicular cancer nationwide. Results and Discussion: The results showed a significant increase in incidence in men aged 25-29 in recent years, as well as a slight increase in mortality in this same group. In addition, it was found that survival in Chile is high even in advanced stages of the disease, which leads to an increase in years of life with disability. Conclusion: It was concluded that it is important to promote and research the prevention of this cancer, due to its impact on young people, coupled with a greater economic and social impact.
